Letmathe 2024 collection
The Genna Zinc Smelter near Letmathe/Iserlohn in the Sauerland region of North Rhine Westphalia in Germany is a long gone slag locality, that produced nearly 200 mineral species, common as well as rare. I already had quite some material from there, see the regular locality page, but in 2024 I managed to acquire an impressive and very extensive collection from there, from Bernd Döhnel, who may be considered to be a specialist for the location. All the specimens are fully analyzed.
